The challenges are keeping planning and resourcing as well as our own subject knowledge constantly up
to date in an ever-changing environment. It can also be a challenge to design engaging and detailed
lessons on the subject of online safety.
Why Gooseberry Planet
Gooseberry provides a comprehensive and detailed system of work which is constantly up to date with
the issues our children currently face online. Resources are provided both for staff, children and
parents to ensure the whole school community can understand staying safe online together. The
Gooseberry planet platform also provides engaging online activity that makes the children want to
learn about how to keep safe!
The Impact
Currently just in our first term of teaching but the impact has been consistent teaching across each year
group of the lessons. Also, the feedback from both teachers and students has been excellent.
