UAE revealed as the number one choice for UK exporters

According to BESA’s latest research the UAE has overtaken the USA and Saudi Arabia as the country that UK companies are most interested in exporting to. The findings come as 83 UK education suppliers are poised to fly out next week to exhibit at the influential GESS Dubai 2019, the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) announced today.
- GESS Dubai is the leading education conference and exhibition in the MENA region
- Visitors are expected from 92 countries to experience 550+ brands
- The 2018 edition of GESS saw 74% of the audience having purchasing or influencing authority
- More and more companies are using GESS Dubai as a platform to launch their products in this lucrative education market
- UK pavilion is the largest pavilion by country
- The UAE government is spending Dh10 billion (£2 billion) on education investment through 2021
- GESS Dubai is supported by the UAE government and Ministry of Education
The export market, especially within the MENA region, continues to increase in importance and be a major focus for UK companies.
The 2019 UK pavilion is the largest by country and will feature the latest British educational resources and services ranging from learning platforms, assessment software, STEAM resources to furniture, school uniforms, EdTech and general education resources.
