The Education Resources Awards 2017 winners celebrate their success

This year’s Education Resources Awards winners were announced at a gala dinner held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham during the Education Show at the NEC on Friday 17 March 2017.

The awards hosted by comedian Zoe Lyons celebrate and encourage the raising of educational services and product standards throughout the industry and are recognised throughout the sector as the Accolade of excellence.

Organised by Brilliant Marketing Solutions and the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), The ERA’s are now in their 18th successful year and are firmly established as the premier annual event to celebrate outstanding success for the suppliers and teaching professionals of the education sector throughout the UK.

This year’s 21 winners were chosen by a select panel of education experts ranging from teachers, journalists and senior influencers and featured “start-up of the year” category for the first time. Catherine Jeffrey from TTS won the Lifetime Achievement for her significant contribution to the education sector.

Patrick Hayes, BESA director and chair of the judging panel said: “We at BESA, the trade body for suppliers of quality UK education resources, would like to congratulate all the winners of this year’s Education Resources Awards. At a time when there is intense pressure on schools to achieve greater learning outcomes for their budgets, identifying and investing in the very best resources has never been more important. To be shortlisted was a major achievement, but to have won means you must be producing something truly outstanding.”
