The finalists for the 17th annual Bett Awards have been announced by organisers i2i Events Group, and partners the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).
Every year, the Bett Awards receive a large number of high quality entries from a vast range of ICT educational suppliers, hoping to win one of the outstanding awards that commend exemplar ICT products or services intended to improve standards in UK educational institutions.
The Bett Awards are considered to be the most prestigious in the education sector, and entrants are judged on their level of distinctiveness and diversity, representation of the needs of the education system, quality of design, production, and delivery and inclusivity and accessibility.

Judges initially review each entry based on its fit with the awards’ criteria such as design, cost-effectiveness, effective learning and teaching styles. The finalists will now be asked to send in their products so judges may give a technical evaluation, measure the robustness and resilience of each product, as well as its accessibility for those with specific needs. Winners will be announced at the Bett Awards ceremony on the first evening of the Bett Show, Wednesday 21 January 2015 at the The Brewery, London EC1Y.
