Job Description:

Are you passionate about education and providing children with the best opportunities? Are you experienced with UX/UI? Are you proficient at making wireframes and user journeys? This could be the role for you!

 

The company

Crick Software produces award-winning reading and writing support software for children of all ages and abilities.

Hailed as ‘the gold standard of literacy software’, our products are used in thousands of schools around the globe, supporting learners of all abilities, including those with dyslexia, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and other special needs.

The company has been live since 1993, is active in 23 different countries, and has won 12 BETT awards. We have recently moved to a SaaS model and are on a significant growth curve.

 

The role

You’ll be responsible for researching, prototyping, and developing user interfaces for apps across a variety of platforms. 

 

Tasks include:

  • Create, improve, and use wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Present ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and incorporate feedback in designs
  • Create complete UI visuals and specifications for developers to implement
  • Evaluate user experience and effectiveness, using results to influence new product development, updates, and new features
  • Liaise with the internal team and customers to figure out pain points to create improvements
