We have a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager within our Early Years sales 
 team, based in the South East. We’re the one-stop-shop for educational supplies; we provide 
 all of the products schools and nurseries need, delivered when they want them, at highly 
 competitive prices.
 Your Role:
 Reporting to the UK Sales Manager for Early Years, your role encompasses two key areas –
 retention and growth of existing customers, as well as acquisition of new business 
 opportunities. You will take ownership of the following:
 • Continually build and grow a pipeline of opportunities, moving through the sales cycle from 
 initial contact to closing the opportunity.
 • Build trusted business relationships at a senior level, including leading high value 
 negotiations and resolving any issues effectively.
 • Maximize the potential of our trading customers, through proactive initiatives, strong 
 communication and offer of products and solutions.
 • Recommend and drive usage of our digital solutions eg. SMART ordering.
 • Be a brand ambassador within the marketplace, supporting Early Years events s & 
 customer advisory boards.
 • Work closely with Findel’s internal support teams to ensure that our customers have the best 
 possible support and the potential of commercial agreements are maximized.
 • Report on and interpret key customer and market metrics, using our CRM and other 
 systems to better understand and manage customer’s trading behaviour.
 About You:

 • Proven successful account management experience.
 • Experience of winning new business.
 • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
 • Ability to build trusted relationships, professionally and at all organisational levels within a 
 customer’s structure.
 • A confident, persuasive and professional manner.
 • Ability to negotiate and problem solve.
 • Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations, both internally and externally.
 • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of a digital business.
 • Ability to work independently, collaboratively and as a team.
 • Ambition to learn, develop a professional sales career and grow professionally.
 • Drive and determination to achieve results and excellent standards.
