  • Have you ever considered a career in education finance where you can use your transactional skills to support schools to make a difference to children’s life chances across Herts and beyond?
  • Would you enjoy applying your knowledge and experience to support school leaders in managing their finances?

If the answer is yes, why not come and join Herts for Learning Ltd where you can make a positive difference and further develop your career in education finance.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of schools within your allocated area of Hertfordshire to provide advice on both the school’s current financial position and future projections. In addition to this you will provide financial guidance to support the school’s aims of continually driving forward the quality of teaching and learning. This is a busy and stimulating role that requires commitment, resilience and professionalism, but gives flexibility and independent working, in line with the service requirements of your schools, e.g. meeting school leaders.

We are seeking an individual with accounting experience, who may be part AAT/ CCAB/ CGMA qualified, and has the skills to produce accounts and budget reports that school leaders can trust.

The team is working remotely where possible to support their schools and when required, providing onsite support to their schools, in line with Government guidelines. Therefore the ability to reach different locations by car will be essential and a full driving licence and appropriate car insurance will be required. Also as there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
