Location: Hertfordshire.
Flexibility required to work across educational settings in Hertfordshire.
Post Covid-19 lockdown restrictions there will be an opportunity to work up to 2 days in the Head Office – Stevenage.
Do you have a passion for improving mental health, wellbeing and behaviour in schools?
At Herts for Learning we are looking for a colleague who will provide expert support for schools and settings in the areas of behaviour, mental health and wellbeing. Schools and settings are experiencing a higher level of mental health, wellbeing and behaviour needs in learners and HfL want to be able to support schools and settings with training, advice and guidance in these areas to meet the additional need post pandemic.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with leaders and key staff to ensure they have the skills to successfully manage and support children in their school or setting. You will have recent and relevant school experience and expertise and a proven track record of improving behaviour and pupil wellbeing in a school or setting.
This role will suit someone who is interested in a fixed term contract, a secondment or deployed consultant position within the advisory service initially on a one year fixed term contract. We are seeking to appoint either one adviser for 0.8 or full time or two advisers each for 0.4 or 0.5. We welcome applications from colleagues in the EY, primary, secondary or special school sectors.

The team are working remotely where possible to support their schools and when required, providing onsite support to their schools in line with Government guidelines. Therefore the ability to reach different locations by car will be essential. If you drive then a full driving licence and appropriate car insurance will be required. Also as there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
