A series of BESA run events helping Educational Suppliers get prepared.
UK educational suppliers can benefit from a range of activities to help prepare for Brexit. BESA has organised a programme of briefing events and sessions during October, tailored specifically to support education suppliers. These FREE events and briefing advice are available to any UK education company, as well as BESA members and Launchpads.
Funding for these events has been made available by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s Business Readiness Fund.

Brexit planning advice, specific to education suppliers, will be available from BESA’s policy analyst Alexander Shea. This session will allow companies the opportunity to meet with, as questions of and share experiences and advice with fellow UK education suppliers on Brexit planning.
Social media drop-ins
Ask your questions to Brexit preparation experts in these hour-long twitter Q&A sessions. Starting on Monday 21 October through to Thursday 31 October these sessions will run every day from 14.00-15.00hrs with an additional hour of 10.00-11.00hrs being held on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October.

Join BESA’s Policy Analyst, Alexander Shea, on these 35 minute webinars as he guides you through the economic, regulatory and compliance measures educational suppliers can take to prepare for Brexit. Formerly of the European Court of Justice, Alexander will talk you through how your company’s movement of good, services and data will be affected by Brexit. This will include custom checks, tariff barriers and adjustment to GDPR regulations.
