PRESS RELEASE
Heckmondwike FB, one of the UK’s leading fibre bonded carpet and carpet tiles manufacturers, has expanded its renowned Iron Duke range with seven exciting new colours.
Iron Duke is a popular choice for flooring in the education sector, as it features a flat finish, which means it is extremely robust to withstand high volume traffic in corridors and classrooms, as well as being easy to maintain.
The seven new colourways, which include Purple, Violet, Fuchsia, Willow, Blue, Flint and Charcoal, brings the number of options within the Iron Duke range to 15, offering specifiers and end users even more choice.
Abby Chandler, Marketing Manager for Heckmondwike FB, said: “These exciting new colours have been carefully selected to reflect current trends in furniture and decoration. They open up even greater design opportunities with Iron Duke, increasing its appeal even further for public sector and commercial projects. Our newly extended range offers design and durability at a very competitive price point.”
Heckmondwike FB’s cost effective, heavy contract Iron Duke carpet was first introduced in 1967 to meet demand within the education sector for a hard wearing carpet solution for classrooms and transition areas. Over the years, it has demonstrated how it can withstand high volumes of traffic and heavy wear and tear, whilst enabling the creation of eye-catching flooring designs. As Iron Duke can be cut in any direction on site without the risk of fraying, this allows for the creation of inspirational, bespoke designs in carpet, which includes the introduction of logos or motifs.
Iron Duke carpet, like all of Heckmondwike FB’s products, is British-made and is backed by a 10 year limited warranty, which means it can be specified in complete confidence.
The carpet range is also popular with contractors as it is simple and straightforward to cut on site.
As part of Heckmondwike FB’s Fibre Bonded Carpet and Carpet Tile range, Iron Duke features outstanding thermal properties, so conserves heat and excellent acoustic properties to reduce noise pollution. It also offers antistatic and anti-slip properties.
