Salary: Band 4: FTE £28,000 – £32,000 p.a.
Location: Home based, with the potential to work up to 2 days in the Head Office – Stevenage, if desired

Due to the introduction of a new multi-supplier Management Information System (MIS) framework and continued growth, the HFL Data Management Services team are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join the team as an additional MIS Support Specialist (Secondary).
The role will specialise in support for secondary phase schools and settings. Supporting the DMS team to provide high quality support and advice to a wide range of school and education staff in the use and implementation of MIS processes, including SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom and ScholarPack.
Previous experience of school MIS systems (such as Arbor, ScholarPack or SIMS) is essential, with Bromcom experience an advantage. We are particularly looking for candidates familiar with secondary school functionality. Service desk experience of providing software support to customers would also be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised with great attention to detail. Have a passion for delivering a great service to the customer whilst being patient and understanding of the challenges faced by staff in schools. Be willing to learn and maintain continuous professional development in line with the supported MIS in order to deliver quality support along with comprehensive training and consultancy.

The team are currently working remotely due to Covid-19, however following this following this you will have the opportunity to work in the office for a maximum of 2 days per week, if desired. As there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
