Playforce was awarded the contract to complete the installation for projects totalling more than £330,000 from the latest wave of Sport England’s £18 million National Lottery-funded Primary School Facilities Fund, which is helping hundreds of schools across England who currently have little suitable outside space for children to take part in PE, sport and active play.
Playforce will be installing a variety of equipment such as Multi Use Games spaces, activity surfacing, goal ends, shelters and climbing walls at ten schools over coming months. Each of the new spaces has been designed to improve facilities for physical activity, PE and sport and ensure that pupils have access to good quality and multi-functional spaces to keep active. In most cases, extra-curricular sports clubs, and the wider school and local community will also benefit from the developments.
